chemagen offers automated and manual solutions for high quality DNA/RNA extraction based on proprietary magnetic bead technology. The isolated nucleic acids are ready to use for a variety of downstream applications in e.g.
Isolation of free circulating DNA from serum/plasma
The interest in isolation of free circulating DNA from plasma is rising, since many diagnostics are based on this. Tumor diagnostics, prenatal madicine and transplantation diagnostics need a reliable kit for the isolation of tumor DNA or fetal DNA in maternal plasma. chemagen now offers a new kit - chemagic Circulating NA Kit special - for the isolation of cell free DNA from 1 - 4 ml plasma.
chemagen launches its first kit for total RNA isolation
Total RNA extraction from stabilized blood such as PAXgeneTM has always been an issue for our customers who have been using chemagen's chemistry for several years. Now chemagen can satisfy their needs with the chemagic RNA Blood Kit special. This kit facilitates the automated extraction of total RNA from 2.5 ml blood samples. Up to 24 of these samples can be processed with the chemagic MSM I in parallel.
Total RNA from saliva
The chemagic RNA Saliva Kit is intended for the use with the chemagic MSM I to extract total RNA from 1 ml saliva (collected with the OrageneTM system). Oragene RNA is a non-invasive RNA self-collection system that can be used by untrained subjects to collect high quality RNA.
