Isolation of viral DNA/RNA from 1 ml serum or plasma
Since today the maximum volume that could be processed with the chemagic Prepito was 600 ĩl, which reduced the number of samples per run. But chemagen found a solution to increase the sample volume up to 1 ml. The new Prepito Viral DNA/RNA1k Kit now enables owners of the chemagic Prepito or chemagic Prepito-D to perform the isolation of viral nucleic acids from 1 ml serum or plasma. This is especially interesting for samples prospected for a certain virus that is known to have low copy numbers.
chemagen launches its first kit for total RNA isolation
Total RNA extraction from stabilized blood such as PAXgeneTM has always been an issue for our customers who have been using chemagen's chemistry for several years. Now chemagen can satisfy their needs with the chemagic Total RNA Kit special. This kit facilitates the automated isolation of total RNA from 2.5 ml blood samples. Up to 24 of these samples can be processed with the chemagic MSM I in parallel.
