Isolation of viral DNA/RNA from 1 ml serum or plasma
Two new products, the chemagic Viral DNA/RNA 1k Kit special and the Prepito Viral DNA/RNA1k Kit open outstanding possibilities in high throughput sample preparation for virus diagnostics from up to 1 ml plasma or serum. The process for up to 96 samples (12 samples chemagic Prepito) in parallel lasts no longer than 80 minutes ensuring the same reliability and sensitivity as known for our established applications. This is especially interesting for samples prospected for a certain virus that is known to have low copy numbers.
chemagen launches its first kit for total RNA isolation
Total RNA extraction from stabilized blood such as PAXgeneTM has always been an issue for our customers who have been using chemagen's chemistry for several years. Now chemagen can satisfy their needs with the chemagic Total RNA Kit special. This kit facilitates the automated isolation of total RNA from 2.5 ml blood samples. Up to 24 of these samples can be processed with the chemagic MSM I in parallel.
