The chemagic QA Software is the ideal solution for labs who require high quality assurance while they use the chemagic Magnetic Seperation Module I for nucleic acid isolation. The following screen shots show some of the features.
The main screen shows an overview of the main functions and status of the instrument. The 4 main parts of the machine provide information on:
- selection of pre-installed protocols
- status of the processing protocols
- control button
- instrument status
Within the "ID" Window the primary sample IDīs can be registered manually or by scanning the barcoded primary tubes. Another or the identical code can be assigned to the corresponding elution tube. The upper part of the window shows schematically the x-axis of the instrument with an allocation of each kit componentto be used at its specific position. Identification of each Individual rack creates a further option.
The status protocol shows within the main window: the running time, remaining time and the actual protocol step while running the protocol enabling the complete tracking of the process
The log file window enables the access to all log files. The files contain all the information needed for the complete documentation of the isolation process and sample tracking. The files tamper proof/right protected and can be printed out at anytime. LIMS compatibillity is guarranteed for all systems which except plain text files.
The chemagic QA Software upgrade 5.1 is now available and promises a more convenient and flexible handling of the chemagic MSM I with/without chemagic Dispenser. It is compatible with all three chemagic Rod Heads (12, 24 and 96).
- Controlling of all three chemagic Rod Head formats (12, 24 and 96)
- Dispensing in the 6 x 4 format corresponding to the chemagic 24 Rod Head is implemented
- Different dispensing formats can be used with chemagenīs chemagic Dispenser
- Selection of individual columns for dispensing is possible to save disposables
- Service protocols are integrated to facilitate a convenient handling
- Cleaning protocols are integrated to fasten the maintenance
- Remaining time to the external step is shown to facilitate the laboratory workflow
- Text files containing sample IDs/scanned bar codes can be integrated (as a txt-file) in the log file to avoid sample mix-up caused by manual enter
