chemagen Biopolymer-Technologie AG is located at the International Technology & Service (ITS) center in Baesweiler, ca. 25 min northeast of the city of Aachen.
chemagen's core competence is the development, functionalization, modification and production of polyvinyl alcohol based magnetic polymer particles (M-PVA Magnetic Beads) and kits. Our kits and particles are used for the separation of target molecules from complex mixtures in biochemical, molecular biological, medical and environmental applications. chemagen's most important business partners are companies, scientific institutions and research facilities that are involved in the fields of pharmaceuticals, chemistry, biochemistry and medicine.
chemagen was founded in December 1997. The company's scientific foundations were laid at the Rheinisch-Westfälisch-Technische-Hochschule Aachen, (RWTH, Technical University of Aachen). There, the concept of the separation of complex mixtures with novel magnetic beads was developed into an applicable product.
Today, chemagen is profitable since several years and grows with significant rates. The company widens its activities permanently regarding innovative products as well as the extension of its worldwide distribution network.
